Expanded CNC Capabilities from PDPlay!
CNC Machining is a process used in manufacturing that involves the use of computers to control machine tools such as a CNC Router. CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control.
There are many advantages to using a CNC Router versus a hand router. CNC Routers give designers the ability to create beautiful and intricate custom signs that are fabricated with precision. The process is much more accurate than manual routing and can be repeated in exactly the same manner over and over again. Because of these precision capabilities, this process can produce complex shapes that would be almost impossible to achieve using traditional techniques.
With our new CNC Router and skilled CNC technicians, PDPlay has increased its capacity to offer custom fabrication of high-quality signs and panels. We are able to create unique products using our standard HDPE sheets and recycled plastic lumber but also wood as well. These expanded capabilities also allow us to reduce project costs by increasing efficiency and automation and reducing waste. With this increased capacity, PDPlay can create custom panels for replacement panels, slide brackets, roofs or other components more quickly and efficiently than ever before which means faster delivery of improved play products and site furnishings for our customers.
