PD Play Pad Fiber Play Resilient Surfacing

When it comes to ADA access, Fiber-Play resilient surfacing provides a very cost effective alternative to rubberized surfacing. When properly maintained, Fiber-Play resilient surfacing provides ADA access to the entire playground site. Fiber-Play resilient surfacing does not compact as much as sand, and when installed to the proper depth and maintained, it provides excellent protection against falls. The recommended compacted depth under playground equipment is 12". We recommend installing Fiber-Play in 3 layers of 6" over filter fabric over a 4"-6" bed of gravel. Provide site drains as needed. Each layer of Fiber-Play shall be wetted and compacted in order to achieve an overall compacted depth of 12".
